Why Choose To Comprehensively Insure Your Vehicle This
Renewal?
Third Party Insurance is the
minimum level of insurance which satisfies the requirement
of the laws of Zimbabwe as defined by the Road Traffic Act
is called Third Party Only Insurance or Road Traffic Act
(RTA) Insurance. The Act requires that motorists be
insured for at least US$5 000 against their liability for
injuries or death to others (including passengers) and US$2
000 for damage to other persons' property resulting from use
of a vehicle on a public road or in other public places
(Statutory Instrument 124 of 2009). Unfortunately the level
of cover provided by Third Party Only Insurance is
basic but this does not exceed the requirements of the Act
as you will still be expected to compensate third parties
adequately in the event of a loss.
