There are specific policies under this depending on the nature of the project in question or the equipment being covered and include Machinery Breakdown (MB), Contractors’ All Risks (CAR), Plant All Risks (PAR), Erection All Risks (EAR), and Electronic Equipment Insurance (EEI).

MACHINERY BREAKDOWN

Offers protection against sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage to machinery which has been erected and is operational or at rest. Main Hazards include a machine’s tearing apart due to centrifugal force.

PLANT ALL RISKS 

Covers mobile plant against any unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage from causes not specifically excluded.
