Star Attraction Policy This is our star insurance policy as it marks progress in the new products development section of the company. This is a product whose external underwriting and partnership has been carefully selected through Zimnat’s association with ACE Insurance (SA), a subsidiary of ACE Group of America, who are listed on the NYSE, and have a market capitalization of almost $17 billion, and command A+ rating with the world’s renowned rating agencies – Standard & Poor’s and AM Best. In South Africa the subsidiary enjoys an equally prestigious A+ rating with Global Credit Rating (SA). Through this elaborate selection process which has culminated in an association with Zimnat-Lion, our Travel Insurance Policy has given rise to a rock-solid support base that ensures the prospective policyholder complete peace of mind and an even more enjoyable travel that allows a complete focus of duty at hand, be it holiday or business.
Scope of Cover The policy is ideally suited to an international traveller, as it looks at covering losses arising from defined events occurring during an international journey. An international journey is defined as commencing from the point of departure to the destination outside of the insured person’s country of domicile including return journey to point of departure (i.e. where the insured person passes through passport control from within the country of domicile).
